Swedish Massage Therapy

The most common type of massage is Swedish massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes on topmost layers of muscles. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing. And it may even help after an injury.
Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy Massage is Swedish Massage Therapy using specially blended massage lotion that contains high quality DoTerra essential oils.
During an Aromatherapy Massage, you inhale these essential oil molecules and absorb them through your skin. They are thought to promote beneficial changes in your mind and body by affecting the limbic system, a region of the brain known to be involved in emotion. You have the option to choose a Calming Blend, Relaxing Blend, or an Uplifting Blend.

Deep Tissue Massages can open the body up and regain functional awareness in the body.

PRE-NATAL MASSAGE

Prenatal massages are generally considered safe after the first trimester, as long as you get the green light from your practitioner.

Pelvic Health Initial Evaluation

The initial 75-minute visit includes a one-on-one assessment of your posture, strength, range of motion, functional movement and pelvic health needs. The session includes 100% hands-on time with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Treatment in this initial visit is focused on helping you develop your action plan and giving you a few simple home exercises to get started on.
Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Treatment

This 60-minute follow-up session continues to address your whole body and pelvic health needs and includes 100% hands-on times with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Treatment sessions include but are not limited to: patient education related to your condition, therapeutic exercise, therapeutic yoga,, manual therapy (such as myofascial release/soft tissue massage), balance training, energy work, breathwork, aromatherapy, meditation/mindfulness, etc.
Dry Needling Initial Assessment

In this 30-minute initial hands-on assessment, a physical therapist will take you through functional movements, range of motion, strength testing, and palpation, to determine the regions that would benefit most from dry needling. A dry needling treatment will be completed at the end of the assessment. A physical therapist will insert dry needles into myofascial trigger points (painful knots in muscles), tendons, ligaments, or near nerves in order to stimulate a healing response in painful musculoskeletal conditions.
Dry Needling Session

In this 15-minute dry needling session, a physical therapist will insert dry needles into myofascial trigger points (painful knots in muscles), tendons, ligaments, or near nerves in order to stimulate a healing response in painful musculoskeletal conditions. The regions needled will be based on those regions identified in the initial assessment.

Reiki Therapy

Reiki is a Japanese term derived from the words Rei, natural spirit, and Ki, vital energy. The common translation is “The Universal Life Force”. It is a form of healing through energy that is transferred by a “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy of love flows through and around us. It is an immediate healing process for humans as well as for our animals, homes, food, plants and even situations. Reiki is a life force energy that is abundant and available in our world. It is available to us at any time. Reiki increases our body’s electrical energy, helping us to live more vibrantly. We can then use this energy for the greater good of all. Chakra clearing and balancing can also be combined with Reiki. There are seven chakra systems in the body, each corresponding to seven main nerve plexuses along the spine, from the base to the crown of the head. When the chakras are “open”, the electrical energy can easily flow through us. Often times, the chakras can become unbalanced or “closed”, impairing the flow of energy through us. By combining Chakra balancing with Reiki, the flow of energy through the body can be enhanced.

WHAT IS A SOUND BATH MEDITATION SESSION LIKE?
We begin with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position either on the floor or in a chair. After a few minutes of guided attention to the breath, the tones and frequencies are introduced in succession creating an immersion in the sounds.
A sound bath is an opportunity to explore what a meditative state is and feels like. It can help anyone who wants to access a moment of relaxation or gain the benefits of meditation. For this reason, it can be beneficial for both beginners and experienced meditators as well. There’s no judgement or expectation put on oneself. The goal is to invite deep rest, healing relaxation, and self exploration.
