Warm Yin Workshop

Yin Yoga is an exploration of the cooler, quieter, softer side of yoga.

Classes are based on four principals:

- passive stretching

- held for time in stillness

- finding your edge

- developing awareness

The primary benefits of a regular yin practice: 

- a deeper stretch that works to stress connective tissues and offer a greater, longer lasting mobility.

- helps our nervous system switch from sympathetic (flight or fight) response to para-sympathetic (rest and digest).

- help prana (life force energy) flow more easily through the meridians of our bodies and helps build ojas (vital essence).

This 90 minute workshop will be done in a warm room for maximum comfort. Yin yoga is an excellent addition to an athletes weekly regimen. Or for stressed out individuals seeking to down regulate their nervous system.
