Sound Bath Meditation (or Sound Therapy) is an experience that utilizes instruments and the voice for a therapeutic, restorative and healing purpose. It is passive, yet extremely powerful and beneficial for the mind, body and spirit.
WHAT IS A SOUND BATH MEDITATION SESSION LIKE?
We begin with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position either on the floor or in a chair. After a few minutes of guided attention to the breath, the tones and frequencies are introduced in succession creating an immersion in the sounds.
A sound bath is an opportunity to explore what a meditative state is and feels like. It can help anyone who wants to access a moment of relaxation or gain the benefits of meditation. For this reason, it can be beneficial for both beginners and experienced meditators as well. There’s no judgement or expectation put on oneself. The goal is to invite deep rest, healing relaxation, and self exploration.
