A desire to heal, to grow, and to flourish has been a passion of mine for many years. Sharing these ideals has also been a passion. Restore was born from this concept.

Healing can come from many forms and many avenues. Movement of the body, mediation, a hug from a friend, music that speaks to the soul, these are just a few modalities that can transform yourself into the person that you are meant to be.

Tanya O.

South Florida transplant Tanya Ortiz never thought of describing herself as a yogi. But with much unexpectedness, life brought her to an incredible practice where she gained more than ever could have been imagined. Through her practice she has found love, faith, peace and community, as well as gained strength, mobility and confidence in her own body.

Tanya completed her yoga teacher training in 2016 at Holy Cow Yoga and holistic Center in Charleston, South Carolina.In her teachings she loves to allow students to become more familiar in their own bodies as well as provide opportunities to deeper insight of our true selves , and embracing the path each one of us is on. Along with her 200 hr RYT, Tanya has also completed SUP yoga teacher training.

In addition to sharing her practice with others Tanya has a passion for traveling, cooking & baking and all things outdoors. She enjoys looking for new areas to grow and new crafts to learn.

Tricia C.

Tricia Clift is a RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Certified instructor. She found yoga through ballet, her first love of movement and body connection. She believes yoga is for every body! Finding your connection to the practice through breath, body, community, etc. is your yoga, it is different for each one of us. Honoring safety and what is right for each individual are key players in her class.

She invites you to join her in a judgment free zone, don't be afraid to feel silly!

Susie R.

Lives that are both happy and healthy require balance. With the hustle and bustle of daily life, I find yoga to be the perfect counterbalance. I truly believe in yoga’s working “in” benefits. One of the cornerstone goals of yoga is to integrate the things learned on the mat into daily life. I felt my real “call to action and adventure” about that in January of 2017, so I began yoga instructor training through the YogaFit organization. Since saying YES to that call, I’ve completed 200 plus hours of training and been registered RYT200 with The Yoga Alliance. My personal aspiration as a yoga instructor is to impart not only a deep understanding of yoga principles but to bring hope, encouragement, empowerment and peace to all participants.

Angie C.

Angie began practicing yoga over 20 years ago as a way to maintain balance and physical fitness and manage stress.


In 2003, she completed yoga teacher training through Living Yoga Program, housed at the Ancient Yoga Center at the Radha Madhav Dham ashram in Austin, Texas. The experience was life changing.


She is honored to have practiced with students and teachers of all ages and from all backgrounds over the years. She grows and learns alongside each new face she meets on the mat.


She currently resides in St. Clairsville with her husband, Mark, and four beautiful children. As a busy mom, she has no “spare” time, but she has a great love of reading and yoga of course!

Dana A.

Dana Applegate has been an Air Force officer, a librarian, a massage therapist, and more. She has lived in and out of the US and has traveled a fair amount. After settling in the Ohio Valley and suddenly having lots more free time, she finally discovered the joy of exercise. She has been teaching for about two years and is still learning new things every day!

Kathy S.

In October 2010, Kathy completed her 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga H’om Studio in Pittsburgh and has been teaching classes ever since.

Kathy thinks of yoga as self-care, learning how to improve the health of the body, mind and spirit.

Kathy has lived her whole life in the area and taught preschool for 30 years.

When not teaching yoga, you will find her working out, golfing, or enjoying her grandchildren.

Zachary T.

Zachary Templeton was born and raised in the Ohio Valley. He started his yoga journey 6 years ago while looking for new exercises to add to his regiment. Zachary has recently completed his 200 hour teacher training at Heartwood Retreat Center in Bradenton, FL. He is certified in the Hatha lineage with an additional aerial certification. His intention is to make yoga accessible to everyone.

Denise O.

“Zen” is now “in” at Restore Yoga in St.C.
Welcome to Denise who compliments our already talented staff of teachers.

Denise is a ERYT-500 hour experienced teacher with more than 20 years of experience. She has been accepted to and is working on her 1000 hour yoga teaching certification through Kripalu. Her job history includes, a long standing teaching experience at a local hospital’s wellness center, and four years at a local studio. As her degree is in Child Development, she takes great pride in her work with children. She teaches yoga to our children at Sikora Montessori and Creative Hands preschool during the school year. Among other certifications, she is certified in Prenatal Yoga, and Yoga of the Heart, (yoga for heart and cancer patients). She has trained with Dean Ornish (reversing heart disease ) and is considered a trauma informed teacher by David Emerson.

Denise is currently taking her years of experience in yoga to a new level. Living pain free. Studying with Lee Albert, a PBS presenter, Denise will blend years of teaching experience and offer Intergrated Positional Therapy to facilitate specific pain relief.

Jim C.

Jim Casebolt has been studying meditation since 2004, working with several teachers in different Buddhist lineages. He graduated from the International Buddhist Seminary, affiliated with Dong-Bang Buddhist University in Seoul, South Korea; and from the Institute for Contemporary Buddhist Ministry in the US. He was ordained as a dharma teacher in 2016. He also holds a PhD in psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill and has been a professor at Ohio University Eastern since 1996, where he teaches courses in psychology and religious studies.

Chelsey K.

Chelsey Keding was born and raised in Wheeling WV, and is happy to be back in the area sharing her love of the preforming and healing arts. She began singing at age seven and went on to receive her Bachelor of Music Degree in Classical Voice from The Manhattan School of Music Conservatory. She then spent the next ten years performing in NYC and around the world! Favorite credits include: The original Off Broadway cast of ‘Voca People’ at New World Stages as well as the International Tour, Concerts at Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden with the Grammy nominated group ‘Broadway Inspirational Voices’, and TV appearances on Live with Kelly, Wendy Williams, and The Jimmy Fallon Show. It was through all of these experiences that Chelsey became interested in the healing side of music, sound and energy. This led her to The New York Open Center Sound and Music Institute where she completed the practitioner training program in 2014.

She received her Reiki Master certification through the Center for True Health in 2017.

In 2017, she also completed 100 hours of Yoga Teacher Training at Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh.

Chelsey can often be seen bringing her sound to events and studios around the area, singing with local bands and currently teaches voice lessons at CA House as well as toddler music classes.

Jennifer S.

Jennifer is a Licensed Massage Therapist who attended Midwestern College of Massotherapy and has been practicing professionally for 25 years.
She founded Columbus Academy of Medical Massage in 1993 where she taught advanced massage technique classes and directed clinicals for seven years before having her daughter and continuing in private practice only.


Jennifer is a Reiki Master schooled in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Prenatal and various other healing modalities. She combines these techniques to customize treatments for clients according to their specific per session needs.


She loves spending time with her family and rescue pets, meditation and knitting.

Sarah G.

Sarah is a certified Reiki Master Teacher and professional spiritual coach, writer, and intuitive healer. She began her career in the heart of Sedona, Arizona and returned to the Ohio Valley in 2017 to resume her work by starting her small business, Twisted Tree.

She loves to connect with people to make an empowered world of difference in her community and hopes to inspire others to free deeper healing, empowerment, and purpose in their lives. Outside of work, her passions are healing with animals, traveling to new places, and exploring nature adventurously with her husband and friends.

She holds a BA from Ohio University, certifications in Reiki, spiritual coaching, and Access Consciousness©️, and has completed multiple meditation + holistic healing courses from universities around the world.

Carol B.

Carol is an Access Consciousness Bars Facilitator and Practitioner and an Advanced Access Body Processes Practitioner. She will be offering these services at our studio!

Carol is also a Certified Medium, Certified Doreen Virtue Angel Therapist, Certified Angel Oracle, Reiki Master, Colored Light therapist by Spectra Hue, and an IET Angel Therapist that works with the angels for restoring your life's purpose and joy.

She is an event and workshop promoter and Author of the "Loving Kindness Journal. The book of loving you.”

She is a life long seeker of up to date practices to heal your life, create more joy and have a richer life.

Anisa R.

Anisa is an elementary school teacher who uses yoga in her classroom daily. Health and wellness have always been a passion. She strives to share her love of taking care of your mind, body and soul with her students so they might become confident in themselves.

Teaching yoga fundamentals to children gives them tools that can be carried throughout their entire life.

Anisa is married to her husband, Jim. They have a daughter, Taya, and a Saint Bernard, Clark.

Anisa practices yoga for the many health benefits as well as for keeping herself centered in a busy world. She also enjoys running and swimming. She and her husband run an e-commerce business that focuses on helping people reach their health and wellness goals.

Hanna V.

Hanna Vera is a level 1 yoga teacher through YogaFit and has been teaching for one year. Her favorite thing about yoga is that it is so accessible and modifiable for every unique body, and she hopes to share the value of mindful movement in her classes.

Hanna is a junior at Miami University with majors in International Studies, Latin American Studies, and Premedical Studies. In her free time she enjoys running, petting her dogs, crocheting, reading, and doing yoga of course!
